About us

The Swedish Cognitive Science Society is a non-profit academic organization. It is lead by a board consisting of members from different Universities in Sweden.

The aim of SweCog is to support Cognitive Science researchers in Sweden, and to strengthen Cognitive Science presence and awareness in Sweden. To that end, we arrange an annual conference in Cognitive Science and online talks in the SWECOG lectures series. We also circulate distribute information of relevance to researchers in Cognitive Science via member mailing lists.

SweCog is building on the network developed within the Swedish National Graduate School of Cognitive Science since 2009, previously hosted here. All researchers with an interest in cognitive science, broadly conceived, are welcome to join the society.
